"Kerala tour 12-16 Oct 2020 Our first trip to the beautiful part of South India and it was A-MA-ZING!!! Thank you Vippy for compiling this wonderful journey that started in Fort Cochin, where we stayed in the historical Dutch Bungalow. From there to the breathtaking waterfalls and rainforest in Athripally. We got to spent a day and night in a houseboat in Alleppey. We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and all the delicious food made especially for us! After Alleppey we had tour through the Kumbalangi village where we got to see and experience the village life hosted by such a hospitable host. We definitely made memories to cherish a lifetime. "Hi Vippy! We had a really good time touring around Southern India and the arrangements that you made for us worked really well. As always there were certain areas that could be improved. It would be better to have one driver rather than three. Many fellow tourists we met only had one driver yet were travelling through a number of states so I’m not sure why we couldn’t do the same. As already discussed the Copper Castle Hotel in Munnar was not good. The driver suggested we stayed in Chandy’s Hotel near Munnar, this is a really excellent hotel. I think the Athripally Rainforest Resort is lovely and was probably the most expensive hotel we stayed at . It’s location and staff were excellent. Our trip was relatively relaxed with spare time in most places .The beach at Marari looks lovely and it’s interesting to see the fishing boats leave and return each day. "Tour to the Western Ghats and Goa ! A good balance itinerary between culture and nature. All worked very well - no hitches in collection/drop off. Drivers were very good - helpful levels of English. Ooty and Coonor in the Western Ghats are very good as a chill out. Spectacular tours of Tea plantations, the Toy Train, the Elephant Safari, but no tigers and highly unlikely to see them ! Mysore, a great city to visit. Highlights - the Palace (spectacular day and night) the temples are excellent of their type and the Brindavan gardens. Special commendation for Anthony who was our driver to Mysore/Bangalore. Goa was lovely long beach and the beach shacks! Both your selections to stay were top drawer. Couldn’t fault either in ambience, quality of service. Fort Tiracol is an oasis ! And Aashyana really was gorgeous. We were in the cottages near the beach entrance, and we loved the peace. The dolphin watching trip and the food fusion of European and Indian was delicious. Also loved Old Goa trip with excellent guide - and the Anjuna flea market was nice presents etc. That’s it Vippy ! Already seems a long time ago but lots of lovely memories. "

"Hi Vippy, Thank you for arranging a wonderful tour for us. Both places we stayed- Kalmatia Sangam and Mary Budden Estate - were delightful. Kalmatia Sangam gave us a charming octagonal room with view of Himalayan snow covered peaks. The service and food were above par. Everyone who works there made sure to make us feel welcome and well cared for. We were also pampered at the Ayurveda Center with oil treatments which were included with our stay. We felt rejuvenated after our time there. After two days, we were driven to Binsar Sanctuary for three nights at Mary Budden Estate. Its a beautiful, luxury boutique hotel. Our bedroom was tastefully decorated. We were also given a living room AND a small dining area, so we had a whole house! Every night we had wood fires to warm us. The food was of the highest quality. Sheetal guided us on interesting hikes. The whole staff there was attentive to our needs, always with a smile and a cheery Namaste. Both places mentioned above provide memorable experiences.
