Classic Himachal

Tour with great introduction to Himachal, includes Simla, Kullu, Manali, Palampur, Dharamshala, all being the main highlights while holidaying in Himachal.

DAY 1 – Delhi

To arrive and check in the booked hotel. If time permitting to go for local tour of Delhi and visit the famous old streets of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi, Red Fort, famous temples, local posh markets for shopping etc. 

DAY 2 and 3 - Shimla

To check out and take early morning Express train or hire a car to go to Shimla. Transfer to the booked hotel and later visit the famous Himachal Museum and Library famous for its collection of ancient historical sculptures, paintings, coins, photos and more. The famous Mall meeting point for tourists which joins the Ridge at the ‘Scandal Point' of Kipling's Shimla, where a statue of the nationalist leader Lala Lajpat Rai has been erected. This is the main shopping centre of Shimla with many restaurants and in evenings with lights giving great view of markets and surrounding mountains.

DAY 4 and 5 – Kullu

To arrive at Kullu 220 km from Shimla, takes about 6 to 7 hours of drive and check in the booked hotel.Enjoy visits to the apple orchards for which Kullu is famous for and the Hindu temples and Buddhists monasteries.

DAY 6 and 7 – Manali

Transfer to Manali, 45 km, about 2 hours drive and on arrival to check in the booked hotel.Tour places of interests like  temples , Hadimba , Manu , Monasteries, Solang valley and more.   

DAY 8 - Palampur

Transfer to Palampur, 180 km , about 4 and a half to 5 hours of drive and on arrival to check in the booked hotel.Also being known as the tea capital of North West India The place enjoys a healthy climate, scenic hills , numerous tea gardens , temples to explore.

DAY 9 – Dharamshala

Transfer to Dharamshala , in Kangra district , 30 km from Palampur and check in the booked hotel. The main being Dalai Lama”s residence and centre for Tibet administration in McLeodGanj village and temples and monasteries to explore.

DAY 10 – Delhi

On arrival to transfer to Delhi to check in the booked hotel and on flight time, to take flight for onward destination.

• The prices would be based on 2 persons travelling together, depending on season to season, hotel categories varying from guests houses, home-stay to mid range, to high end boutique hotels.
• Prices would not include the costs of international flights to and from the destination. Airfares are on application.
• Base category tour price starting from 36,000/- on double sharing , including transport starting Delhi , touring Himachal destination and back to Delhi.
